Six-Man Tag Team Kickoff Match
"Perfect 10" Tye Dillinger & Breezango vs. Mojo Rawley & American Alpha 2.0

RESULT: Dillinger and Breezango win via pinfall; Dillinger pinned Rawley following a modified Tye Breaker.

TIME: 7:32

THOUGHTS: Harmless, fun little opener here to warm up the Columbus crowd. Good aggression from Rawley, and some fun mockery courtesy of the Fashion Police.

Singles Match
"The Artist" Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Rusev w/Aiden English

RESULT: Shinsuke Nakamura wins via pinfall; Nakamura won after back-to-back Kinshasas.

TIME: 14:23

THOUGHTS: A far more competitve and physical match than I think a lot of viewers were expecting, especially considering the lack of drama with Nakamura having already punched his ticket to the Mania main event and Rusev not even sniffing the Mania card at this point.

The Machka Kick near the end of the match made for a shocking near fall, and while I'm sure most would've liked Nakamura to look more dominant versus a man who's yet to have a spot on the Mania card, it showed that Rusev is no slouch even when he's not sure of his position going into WWE's biggest event.

WWE United States Championship
"Glorious" Bobby Roode (c) vs. "The Viper" Randy Orton

RESULT: NEWWW Champion Randy Orton wins via pinfall; Orton countered the Blockbuster into a RKO (OUTTA NOWHERE!) for the win.

TIME: 19:30

THOUGHTS: A pretty straight-laced match between two of WWE's more techniaclly sound superstars in Orton and Roode. While a little robotic at times and perhaps a little too methodical for the Columbus crowd's liking, it was nevertheless a solid match between the two veterans, holding off on the Mahal interference until after the match, which, along with Roode's slight shift in attitude with his post-match assault on Orton, sets up the eventual Triple Threat match rather well.

Women's Tag Team Match
Becky Lynch & Naomi vs. Natalya Neidhart & Carmella

RESULT: Nattie and Carmella win via pinfall; Carmella pinned Becky following a superkick.

TIME: 8:50

THOUGHTS:
A run-of-the-mill tag match for four of Smackdown's ladies that did little more than to remind viewers that Carmella holds the Ladies' MITB briefcase and now holds a little bit of momentum going into Mania 34.

Smackdown Tag Team Championship
The Usos (c) vs. The New Day w/Big E

RESULT: The match ended in a No Contest; The Bludgeon Brothers assaulted both The New Day and The Usos for the double disqualification.

TIME: 9:07

THOUGHTS: Can't deny that I'm kicking myself for not going with my original notion of a Double DQ/No Contest for this match considering the looming threat of 2B. What we got before the eventual non-finish was interesting, with both teams essentially flipping the script, pulling off each other's signature maneuvers as a way to show how truly equal the two teams are at the top of the blue brand's tag team division.

With Rowan and Harper laying waste to both teams, it seems pretty clear that at least a Triple Threat is in the works for Smackdown's tag straps at Mania, unless they decide to throw another team like Breezango or Alpha 2.0 into the mix and perhaps a few ladders as well...

Smackdown Women's Championship
Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ruby Riott w/Riott Squad

RESULT: Charlotte Flair wins via submission; Charlotte submitted Riott with the Figure Eight Leg Lock for the victory.

TIME: 13:40

THOUGHTS: A decent encounter between Charlotte and Ruby, with Ruby taking full advantage of the Riott Squad to both distract the ref and curtail assistance from Naomi and Becky. Best use of mind games I've seen them use since their Smackdown arrival, relatively speaking, but the real steal here was the post-match showdown between Charlotte and Asuka, surprise, surprise, the latter of whom finally made her WrestleMania 34 intentions clear (via overplayed finger point)  in challenging Charlotte for the Blue Brand's Women's Title.

This most likely means that Nia Jax will be stepping up to challenge her former friend Alexa Bliss for the RAW Women's Title, given the damning words that Alexa dropped on the giantess' broad shoulders last Monday night.

WWE World Championship
Six-Pack Challenge

AJ Styles (c) vs. Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. John Cena vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn

RESULT: AJ Styles wins via pinfall; Styles pinned Owens following a Phenomenal Forearm.

TIME: 20:57

THOUGHTS: While the match concept was made up to look like an overbooked mess, this six-way main event actually went a long way in helping to establish or further along quite a few loose-hanging storylines, such as Shane vs Owens-Zayn, Styles finally affirming his main event role against Nakamura at WM 34, and Cena once again finding himself on the outside looking in as far as a spot on the Mania card is concerned.

While some aspects of the match didn't make a whole lot of sense, such as Corbin assaulting Ziggler away from ringside and Owens looking like he'd powerbomb Zayn even after Sami kept his word to lay down for KO, the match as a whole did what good B-level main events set out to do; that is, help to enhance current storylines heading into a big-time event such as WrestleMania 34. All around, a solid main event for a solid PPV in Fastlane.
